FormatWorks Ultimate is the latest Capvidia product designed for companies who need to improve existing SolidWorks translation capabilities and get access to unsupported CAD formats like native CATIA V5 and V4. We offer unlimited access to all Capvidia's translators for import and for export.

You can start using FormatWorks Ultimate immediately. Download and install it on your computed next to SolidWorks 2008 license (FormatWorks Ultimate is not supported with SolidWorks 2007 and earlier versions).

FormatWorks Ultimate is directly operational (no registration required) in a demo mode allowing you to translate 5 CAD data files from any format to SolidWorks. You can try your translations during 7 days on files < 10 Mb.

FormatWorks Ultimate download package includes step-by-step installation instructions which navigates you through whole installation procedure.
After installation you get connection with Capvidia´s secured data translation server. You can use FormatWorks Ultimate to read 3D CAD formats not supported in SolidWorks (e.g. CATIA native data) and benefit from automatic repair & healing when you are confronted with problems in getting IGES or STEP files into SolidWorks.

FormatWorks Ultimate Preview   FormatWorks Ultimate will make sure that imported files are translated correctly to form valid solids in SolidWorks. You can translate single file or multiple data sets (batch mode). When translating single files you have option to preview the data allowing selection of entities you are interested in and want to get in SolidWorks.

You can select any combination of assemblies and parts. Translate them into SolidWorks and leave the rest behind. This provides huge savings of time and computer resources (memory) and gives manageable data in SolidWorks

FormatWorks Ultimate Import

Multiple data sets are translated in batch mode without user interaction. The translation process can be monitored online. Files can be given priorities to be translated first. The higher the priority, the faster the results will be available. Batch translation is fully automatic and runs without user interaction. In case of SolidWorks crash the process will be restored and problematic data entity annotated in a log file.

The translation process does not tie up your SolidWorks license or your CPU resources. You can run your normal SolidWorks jobs while translating large native CATIA data sets.

SolidWorks license – data translation is not blocking SolidWorks license, user has full SolidWorks autonomy even during translation of large CATIA assemblies.
